All interns have successfully graduated with a minimum of a Masters degree and are in a rigorous process of gathering 3000 hours of supervised counseling and specialized training before they are able to take their state boards and become licensed. They have come to the Couples Center because they feel especially drawn to working with couples and have a passion for this specialty. Most often, they are advanced interns who are well along in their hours of supervised experience. We select interns who have a rich life experience, are devoted to working with couples and show a particular skill and talent in this area. Interns receive training and supervision by either Mary Hinsdale, MFT co-director and/or Peter M. Krohn MFT, founder and co-director of the Couples Center.
